Alice T. Mangen

Alice T. Mangen, 89 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Saturday February 21, 2026, at 8:45 AM at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. Alice was born October 10, 1936, in Miami County, Ohio, the daughter of the late George C. and Sylvia A. (Parsons) Wooddell.

Alice worked as a housekeeper at Rest Haven Nursing Home retiring in 2003; she was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church; she enjoyed doing puzzles and working in her flowerbed and mostly she loved her dogs.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph S. Mangen on January 17, 2023, whom she married October 13, 1957; her grandson, Michael Groff; and her siblings, Lester Wooddell, Donald Wooddell, Lois Forsythe, Joan Alspaugh, William Wooddell, and Judith Cost.

Alice is survived by her children and spouses, John and Susan Mangen, Diane and Gerald Elsas, Debbie and Jim Groff, Donna and Keith Barga, and Mark Mangen; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Versailles Emergency Medical Services.
