

From the moment Nolan was born, he was surrounded by love, that little chunky boy with the best cheeks and big smile melted your heart. His sisters adored him, waiting patiently to take turns holding and loving on him as well as the rest of the family. His brief time with us was filled with love.
In addition to his parents, Nolan is also survived by his siblings, Addilyn and Quinn Slack of Versailles; grandparents, Brian & Kimberly Slack of Edwardsburg, Michigan, and Jeff & Beth Marshal of Versailles; great grandparents, James & Annette Purvis of Lake City, Florida, Richard (and the late) Mary Slack of North Fort Myers, Florida, Gene & Nancy Harshbarger of Bradford, and Judy (and the late) Lowell Marshal of Versailles; aunts & uncles, Kirsten & Jordan Long of Milan, Michigan, Hannah & Troy Schultz of Covington, Abbey & Luke Gephart of Fort Loramie, Jenna Marshal of Versailles, and Nate Marshal of Versailles; and cousins, Sawyer Schultz of Covington, Winnie Gephart and Henry Gephart of Fort Loramie; and extended family & friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, October 24, 2025, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Ned Brown celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Versailles. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
