Beloved son, partner, brother, uncle and friend, Adrian died in Honolulu, Hawaii while on vacation with his love, Kelley. Predeceased by grandparents, Joe and Cynthia Flint and grandmother Doreen Hammontree, Adrian is survived by life partner, Kelley Metrow, mother Beverley Bowes, father Brian, brother Chris (Sara), nephew Spencer, niece Kenzie, extended family and a multitude of friends. Every life he touched was left richer for the contact.
Adrian had a list of goals he wanted to accomplish before he turned forty. They included finally getting his drivers’ license, buying a car, holding a job that gave him both responsibility and a good paycheque, and living in a nice apartment. He accomplished every one of those things on his own timeline and he described himself as “going full adult” in his final year of life. He was enormously proud of the changes he created in his life – rightfully so. He was a force! To know Adrian was to love him. He was kind, gentle, intuitive, loving, generous, loyal and always willing to help anyone who needed it.
If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don’t you ever cry.
The love that’s deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You’ll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.
A celebration of Adrian’s short but impactful life will be held at First Memorial, 4725 Falaise Drive on January 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in Adrian’s memory or help us help Kelley by donating at https://gofund.me/a15c730c
