Betty Isobel Tyre, age 91, of Vancouver, British Columbia passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
She enjoyed sailing through the gulf islands on their boat, JiBe. She also enjoyed travelling, including trips to Antarctica and the Arctic. She was enraptured by the wildlife, especially penguins.
She is predeceased by husband James Tyre, sister Margo and brother David.
She is survived by son David, daughter Donna, brother Rob Paterson-Burton, granddaughters Sarah and Shannon, and four great grandchildren.
