Born in Victoria, BC to Ken (predeceased) and Lily Quan, he was the eldest of six siblings. His memory will be cherished by his mother, brother Warren (Mona), and sisters Lillian (Alan), Janine (Jackson - predeceased), Lynda (Herman), Sandy (Wyman) and his treasured nieces and nephews and their families who affectionately called him Uncle Bobo. He also leaves his Auntie Mamie and Uncle Henry and cousins.
We will all miss his funny smile and wicked humour. Boeing was kind, generous and passionate in all areas of his life. After graduating from UVic, he was actively involved in coaching volleyball, working at the CRD, sharing fellowship with the members of the Masonic lodges, enjoying meals with friends and family and winning prizes from claw machines. He loved to give hugs and all were grateful to receive them. Above all, he was a wonderful and caring friend to many and always made you feel special even if he just met you.
A private family ceremony will be held with interment at Ross Bay Cemetery. A celebration of his life is being planned with the date to be announced. Please email Warren at [email protected] if you wish to be contacted once the details are set.
