Chhino Kaur was born December 1, 1933, in Okara Punjab Pakistan to Mela Singh Dhanda and Athree Klear, and has lived in Canada since 1970. She leaves behind her husband of 75 years Karam Singh. She is greatly missed by her children, Gurmit Chumber, Kushalya Jassi, Harjinder Paul, Paramjit Jhamat, Jasvinder Paul, and Balvinder Bains as well as sons-in-law, Late Gurdial Chumber, Resham Jassi, Neil Bains, and Daughters-in-law, Urmila Paul, Sukhbir Paul and many relatives and wonderful friends.
Chhino Kaur was a sweet and kind, loving grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, the late Amandeep Jassi, and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the First Memorial Funeral Services at 4725 Falaise Dr. Victoria, BC and a further service at the Sikh Temple at 1210 Topaz Ave. on the same day. The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria General Hospital and the caregivers of Selkirk Seniors Village who assisted during her stay.
