Dustin Jeremy Campbell, age 41, of Victoria, British Columbia passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Dustin is survived by his parents, John and Brenda; his brother, Tyler and his nephew, Huxley.
He spent the majority of his growing up years in Sardis. Dusty quickly made friends everywhere he went. From an early age, he enjoyed baseball, swimming, dirt biking and hockey but his greatest passion was definitely skateboarding. When Dustin discovered the saxophone, he joined the school concert and jazz bands, as well as the Air Cadet band. After high school, Dustin went to work in Whistler, where he was able to snowboard every day. Once he moved to Vancouver, Dusty spent several years honing his carpentry skills, while working for Powers Construction, specializing in high end, architectural homes. Dustin also spent many hours on the ocean with his brother, Tyler, sailing and racing in their boat: The Sea Weasel. He later attended Camosun College in Victoria and completed an apprenticeship, receiving his Red Seal in Carpentry. After leaving Vancouver, he continued to work with Powers Construction on the southern gulf islands, as well as building his own home on Mayne Island.
Dusty will be deeply missed and never forgotten. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
Dustin has been laid to rest in the family plot in the Garden of Memories at First Memorial Funeral Services, Victoria, BC.
