She leaves behind her best friend Jerry, sister Ruth, and her 3 children Karen, Jeff (Dolores), and Tony (Bonice), as well as 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Elsa was born March 3, 1936 in Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by sister Joanne and brothers Ralph and John, she was the middle child of five to the late Elsa and Immanuel Lauckner who immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1931.
She embraced life with her ever positive outlook, and her enduring and adventurous spirit. Her family was her great love. She had a wonderful classic fashion sense, loved trying new recipes, and cultivating her garden.
Her unwavering faith in God gave her strength and comfort through the many challenges of life. She is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.
