Born in Medicine Hat, he was a World War II Veteran serving with the Merchant Marines. Ever a hard worker Dad was a Logger, Builder, Barber, Farmer and Prairie boy at heart. He enjoyed his retirement in Sidney, BC.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 72 years Freda Bolton (nee Hanowski), his son Dan Bolton (Lorri), daughters Sharon Bolton (John) and Sandy Nichol (Marcel). Grandchildren, Casey Bolton and Christine Wickes (Kyle), great granddaughters Brynn and Laine Wickes.
