I worked with her at AMA, great adjuster, she was always helpful and willing to help out when she could, we had been in touch through Facebook but had not be in touch for some time, she was so happy to have moved back to BC

My condolences to Ben and family. I worked with Janice at AMA. 
Prior to her moving to Victoria she lived in my basement suite. It was a joy having her here, she will be missed very much.

Another member of Jan's Good Life Gang.

We are a close group of avid gym regulars at the Bay Centre Good Life gym and Jan was a valued member of that group. It is with great sadness that we were advised of her passing yesterday. 

Jan was always one of the first to arrive for class, she attended an average of four classes a week and gave it her all. She was one of the first to greet others with her bright smile and she always had something or some news to share with us, whether it was where to buy the great outfits she wore, about her upcoming trips or the special occasions she celebrated with friends and family.  We knew she celebrated a wonderful Christmas last year with her brother and family recently and of course was very proud of her son. 
 
We will all miss Jan very much. Kumi Smith, our regular instructor at the gym led the class in Jan’s honour yesterday and while it was a more sombre affair it gave us all time to process, reflect and honour Jan’s memory. Yes, we will miss her.

Janice was such a huge part of our community here at GoodLife in Victoria. Every day she came in with the brightest smile and always made our day! We are all so sorry to hear about your families’ loss, she was such a kind and wonderful woman.  She will always be apart of our GoodLife family ❤️

I met Janice when she hired me at Canada life in Victoria around 1981.  I am the third musketeer.  Through the years we changed jobs and Janice moved back to Alberta.  But we always kept in touch.  When I my late husband and I  retired we moved to Salmon Arm, when Janice would be driving to Penticton to visit with her brother and family she would stop and stay overnight to our home.  And yes, the Old Bailey Pub had many of laughs there and of course the curling games.  Didn’t win to many games but we had a lot of laughs.

I met Janice back in 1979 when she hired me at Canada Life in Victoria. Picture in the inner harbor of Victoria with Janice on the right, myself in middle and our third musketeer, Karen, on the left. We had some good times together after work at Old Bailey’s pub where I eventually met my husband. So happy we were able to renew our friendship in the last year after Janice returned to Victoria and will miss her 😢
