Ken Crassweller, born May 27, 1935 in Regina, SK, died February 14, 2025. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Josephine; his wife of 60 years, Lesley; daughter, Marnie; and granddaughter, Skye. Survived by his sons, Andrew and Mark.
For 32 years (to 2010) Ken served faithfully as minister with the United Church of Canada in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia in 13 pastoral charges. Prior to his call to ministry, Ken worked as a lineman with Sask Tel; clerk with Hudson’s Bay Company; teacher at three First Nations schools in Manitoba and Saskatchewan; Arts and Crafts Development and Liaison Officer with Industry and Development Canada for Northern Affairs in Frobisher Bay and Yellowknife, NWT, and Ottawa.
Thanks to the many staff at The Glenshiel and the Royal Jubilee Hospital for their care for Ken. Thanks also for the prayers for Ken from the members of Centennial United Church.
