Family was everything to Garry, he loved nothing more than spending time with them, and a family get-together would always put a sparkle in his eyes. He was a devoted Father to his children and coached many of their hockey & baseball teams, plus other activities, and took great pride in their many achievements. Garry had a passion for the great outdoors. He loved to go fishing, houseboating, and camping; anything he could find to do outside always made his day. He took great pride in his yard and garden and always had some kind of project on the go at either his home in Lake Cowichan or the property in Port Renfrew.
As per Garry’s request, a dual celebration of life will be held for Garry and his son Rudy at the Lake Cowichan Community Hall, Feb 21/2026 at 1PM. Feel free to wear a Stanfield in their honor
