Born in Eastbourne, Wellington, New Zealand & passed away peacefully at home. Survived by her 3 beloved children Elspeth (Don), Adele (Paul) & Paul (Helen). Grandchildren Allison (Chris), Danielle (Richard), Rose (Rob), Carlie, Forest, Nicholas, Catherine and great grandson, Benjamin.
Margaret leaves behind 2 sisters, Anne and Ruth. Nieces & nephews in New Zealand, Australia & Vancouver. Margaret also leaves many friends from church, her work as a nurse, on the tennis court and, of course, ‘the pool ladies’. Mom contributed so much during her time in Cadboro Bay, being a cub leader, volunteered with ‘Carefree’ and was an avid church volunteer particularly in pastoral care. She loved her garden and was a treasured friend to many.
Special thanks to Dianne, Maire-Noelle, Victoria Hospice and the Palliative Response Team to help us keep Mom comfortable & in her own home.
Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 5th at 2pm at Broad View United Church. 3703 St Aidans St, Victoria.
