Marjory and Ron were the epitome of a true love story. Married for almost 69 years, their love, respect, and admiration for one another was unmatched and an inspiration for anyone who had the pleasure of witnessing their bond.
Through the years of battling dementia, the cruel disease was able to take her mind and body, but it was never strong enough to take her beautiful, infectious smile and love for her family and friends. We will never forget the incredible care that Marjory received from the dedicated staff at the Gorge Road Hospital over the past several years. It was such a comfort knowing that she was in such professional, attentive hands.
Marjory enjoyed hearing stories and viewing photographs during her daily visits with Ron. She heard tales of their travels, days in Ontario and Victoria, activities and crafts with friends and family - all of which were able to put a grin on her face and twinkle in her eye.
Throughout Marjory's long life of 89 years, she was truly a gift to everyone. Her kind heart, imaginative mind, sense of humour, and pure soul will truly be missed by all.
