Mary was born on a farm outside Teddington Saskatchewan to Helen and Abraham Bushman. She was one of nine children. She married Ed Bergen and together they raised five children in Vanderhoof and Victoria. Mary spent her life caring for her family, friends, church members and neighbors. She tirelessly shared her Christian faith with the people around her.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Ed in 1984, and her son Tim in 2021. She is survived by her beloved children Curt (Elizabeth), Glenda Cherry (Ron), Terry and Conroy (Cheryl) as well as 11 grandchildren and one adored great grandson Reuben. She also leaves behind her dear sister Anne Ashdown and many nephews and nieces.
A Funeral service will be held at 10 o’clock on Saturday, January 28th at Coastline Church, 845 Caledonia Avenue, Victoria. The service will be livestreamed.
