Beloved wife of Arthur, loving mother of Lindsay and Megan, and sister to Lynda and Edward. She loved her family immensely, and was an especially devoted, loving grandmother to Caitlin, Jonathan, Liam, Finley and Meryn.
Joan was born on Christmas Day, 1941, the eldest of Walter and Irene Leslie. She went to Ryerson for Home Economics and became a teacher. She began her career in Niagara Falls where she met Art and they married in 1966. They settled in Etobicoke, where they started their family and raised Lindsay and Megan with much love. After retirement, they moved to Victoria, to be near their children and grandchildren. Joan enjoyed being part of her community there, volunteering at their local church and making friends and being near her family.
Joan was a deeply caring and loving woman and will be remembered with much love by friends and family.
