Michael (Mike) Yuen, passed away peacefully on February 4, after a courageous battle with cancer. Michael was born to Fred and Victoria Yuen in Victoria, B.C.
Mike is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen, and his children, Terri (Gary), Chris (Diana), grandchildren, Cole & Brooke and Vanessa & Michael, his mother Victoria Yuen (Lam) and brother Russell.
Mike worked for CIBC for 30 years, and was very passionate about the banking industry. He enjoyed the people he worked with immensely – many of whom remain close friends.
He loved his Montréal Canadiens, travelling frequently to Hawaii, and his family above all else. His great sense of humour and unwavering optimism were a constant in all our lives.
