So much more than a husband to Nancy for 70 years and a father to Patrick and Stuart; he was a best friend, mentor, coach and teacher throughout a storied life.
He had time for everyone, always smiled whenever his brothers and sisters were mentioned and had only the kindest of words for his friends.
