Dear Niki, Megan and Dan --
I am so sorry to learn of your mother's death.  I will always remember your mom's sense of humour.  We had many morning cups of coffee when we were neighbours on Richardson Street.  Then your mom introduced me to curling which lead to our "curling suppers".  Even after her stroke when we took her out to lunch she still had lots of laughter and her great smile.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Niki and family - our deepest condolences on your mom and grandmom's passing. I met Pat once a few years ago at a skipping event of Shannon's so did not really have the privilege of knowing her. But from all that I learned about her through chats with Niki, and from what has been written here I can tell she was a wonderful and well-loved person who brought much joy and happiness to family and friends alike. I did see many of her paintings proudly displayed in Niki's home and so wished I could have talked with her about the "creative process" as I found her talent so inspiring. You will all miss her I know, but I also know your treasured memories of this dear person will keep her close in your hearts forever.

Niki, Megan and Dan, I am sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was a wonderful person. Your mom, myself and many other friends went back to the days st Lampson Street Elementary School. As you know, She graduated from Esquimalt High School and was a member of its Alumni Association. As Pat's friend and President of the Esquimalt High School Alumni Association I send our sincere sympathy.

I had the privilege of meeting Pat while as a care aide working at TLAB. For me, she was a gracious, kind soul whose smile and good humour made each day a pleasure. I will remember her with fondness and affection.

Niki, Megan and Dan I want to express my deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your mother.  I first met Pat many years ago at a party at the Owens.  She was very pregnant with Megan.  We had many years of getting together with the Fairfield Friendship Club, the many parties we had.  The one that stands out is at |Judy and Ralph Nygaard's home dressing up like hippies.  Our Curling nights, our dinners that we carried on with.  I will treasure my two water colour painting that Pat painted of her favourite subject "Barns".  In the last few years when Pat had a problem with her speech she always had that wonderful smile when you met her.  She was such a vibrant, fun loving person and will be missed by all who new her.

Dan,Niki and Megan...Your Mom will be remembered in my heart as a very kind loving spirit, her smile was genuine her love of life infectious to all who new her. My best memories is of all the family gatherings and loving to hear your mom's laugh. My deepest condolences. God bless

Dear Dan, Niki and Megan, I'm so sorry to hear that your Mom passed away.  My fondest memories of Pat was seeing her great smile while dancing and twirling her umbrella at the various venues at Jazz Fest.  My thoughts are with you all.

Niki, Megan and Dan, we are so sorry to hear that Pat died. I met Pat at the Oak Bay curling rink and we had such great fun curling together for many years, in the summer when curling was over our team would get together for dinners once a month and once we had dedcided that it was more fun to eat and visit we carried on right up until Pat had her stroke. We were all so sorry that she wasn't able to join us but we were able to take her to lunch now and then for a visit with much laughter. Stewart and I will miss her and will think of Pat's lovely smile for years to come. We know you will have some wonderful memories of your Mom to help ease the sorrow.

We have known Pat since 1956. Pat took me under her wing when I first moved to Victoria and started working with her at Mac and Mac.  
We had such good times getting together for our painting sessions, our family outings  many visits and our many parties and poker   nights in Fairfield. In the later years Pat introduced us to the Jazz scene. Pat was the life of the party, we had so much fun and enjoyed the music and the dancing.
You are a very special Lady Pat and have touched so many lives. You will be in our hearts forever. We love you.
