Peter Westoby

Peter was predeceased by his first wife Doreen and brothers Roy and William. He will be greatly missed by his wife Marilyn, sons Trevor and Philip (Carmen), step-daughters Bev, Diane (Reg) and Val (Kevin), grandchildren Pau, Alison, Erin, Sherrie, Chase and Paris, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.

Peter was born in 1933 in Liverpool, England to Mabel and William Westoby and emigrated to Victoria in 1948 where he led a full and rewarding life through photography, model railroading and restoring MG’s. Peter loved his family most of all, creating beautiful memories at home and abroad travelling with Marilyn by road, air, ship and rail.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services in Royal Oak 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria at 10 AM on Friday, April 24th for family and friends to share their memories of Peter.

The family would like to thank the incredible support provided by the staff at Sidney All Care and Amica Beechwood Village, and the years of dedicated care and attention by Dr Mike Davison. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saanich Peninsula Hospital or CNIB.
