Born in Montreal Quebec, PJ met the love of her life and created an amazing family legacy that bonds our tight family near and far. ‘Phyllie’ was the best! A pure and kind soul. She lit up every room she entered and was truly interested in people she encountered. She possessed a playful, joyful spirit and loved to laugh, even at herself. Phyllis’s greatest passion was family... full stop. Always there, always caring, full of grace. The depth of her love of family shows in each member who are all extremely close and worshipped the ground “Gigi” walked on. She spent many great years at Rose Manor in Victoria where she was the Social Convenor and partner in fun with other amazing residents. When she had to leave the Manor, she was welcomed with open arms to The Heights at Mountview where she was lovingly cared for. The daily visits in long term care by her beloved only son, Pete and daughter Karen, were magical and provided great comfort to those farther away.
A big thank you to the staff at ‘The Heights’ at Mountview for their wonderful care. A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held at a future date.
