Born in Victoria, BC.
Dick (as he preferred to be called) was born and raised in the Happy Valley area of Victoria. He graduated from Vic High and went on to become a mechanic for the next 40 or so years. He met and married his wife, Amy, in the early 50’s and bought a house in the Marigold District where he lived for the next 63 years. Dick enjoyed family vacations with his family and their travel trailer and then European vacations and many cruises. He also enjoyed fishing, walking the many pups he had over the years and lazy weekends at his property in Mill Bay.
Predeceased by his wife, Amy, and common-law spouse, Joyce, older brother John, older sister, Kay, and his mother & father.
Survived by his daughter, Amy, and son, Trevor (Gwen). He is also survived by his four granddaughters, Sara, Stacy, Amanda and Emily and by his three great-grandchildren, Nixon, Nora and Oaklen.
No service was held at this time. Dad will be interred with the rest of his family at Hatley Gardens in the summer of 2022.
