Roberta was born on June 8th, 1927 in Vancouver, British Columbia where she spent most of her youth. She moved to Victoria in 1960, working first at Eaton's and then Capital Iron and finally Simpson Sears where she retired from in 1982. Roberta was an active and integral member of the Juan De Fuca Seniors Activities Centre for many years, proudly serving as their President for three terms. In April of 2018, Roberta was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years Kenneth (Ken) Clarke, by her grandson Kenny, son-in-law Eddie and granddaughter Catherine Alexis. Roberta leaves behind 8 children, Sharron, Ken, Roberta, Craig, Randy, Elizabeth-Wendy, Diana-Lynne and Brenda; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
