Theo leaves behind a legacy of devotion, laughter, and quiet strength. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his cherished children, Daniel, Dianna, and Theo; his sister Petra; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and the many family members and friends whose lives were brighter because of him.
He was predeceased by his father Theo, his mother Maria, and his sister Maryke, whom he now joins in eternal rest.
Theo dedicated many years of service to the City of Victoria and the City of Quesnel, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. A lifelong lover of sports, he found joy, purpose, and community on the field; playing and coaching soccer and baseball in Victoria. He was a wonderful mentor with a passion for the sports he wanted to share. His passion, sportsmanship, and generous spirit touched teammates across generations.
Theo will be remembered for his warm and joyous laughter, and steady wisdom. Though he is no longer with us, what he gave; his love, his lessons, his presence; remains woven into our lives.
May your heart rest in peace, knowing that the laughter and wisdom you shared will live on in all of us.
Forever loved. Never forgotten.
A life well lived. A love well shared.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
