Predeceased by husband Samuel, eldest son Kenneth, sister in law Lillian, nephew Grant. Wai Lan is survived by her children, Donald, Daniel and Mona (Warren), daughter in law Sharon, and grandchildren Matthew, Laura (mom Sarah), Bryan, Brendan, and Aaron, brother in law James Ho, nephew Raymond.
Wai Lan was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed a full and long life. She took pride in her family and always wanted the best for us.
Her most recent years she spent at a care home due to mobility issues, but her mind stayed impressively sharp! She especially savoured the delicious treats from visiting family.
We are thankful that we were able to celebrate together for her 95th birthday last year at the restaurant we gathered at for family dinners.
She will be dearly missed.
A private family memorial service will be held.
