Wayne Plante died unexpectedly at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, but was surrounded by the love of his family when he passed; his two beloved daughters, Hazel and Shannon, and his band of siblings: Leslie, Kenneth, Shirley, and Terry were all by his side, as were the songs of Bruce Springsteen, his favorite musician. An informal memorial will be held in Victoria at First Memorial Funeral Chapel (4725 Falaise Drive) on Saturday, October 21 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate money to the SPCA in his name as he loved animals immensely.
