It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Wayne Cannon, on February 12, 2025 at The Royal Jubilee Hospital, the same place where his journey began on March 21, 1947. He was 77 years old.
A devoted family man and community leader, Wayne had a lifelong passion for mentorship, coaching, and sports. He umpired for over 30 years, cherishing every game - especially those officiated alongside his daughter, Anna. His dedication to youth sports and fair play brought community together and left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond the diamond, Wayne was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, daughters, Vicky (Micha), Anna, and Jill, and grandchildren Kayla, Sam, Leo, Ruby, and Charlotte. He is also survived by his brother Tom (Doris) and nephews Keith and Clint.
