Bill passed away peacefully on February 24th. He was predeceased by his parents Percy and Eva Hawkins, his sister Eva Nieman and son Slade Fuller. He is survived by the love of his life, Betty of 40 years, his children Margaret Kinney (Nicole, Laura & Jenna), Bill (Kate & Kelsie), Mike, Catherine & Mike (Merrick & Michael Gajdics) daughter-in-law Marianne (Paul, Dante), Chas Ryder along with 6 great grandchildren with a 7th on the way.
Bill enjoyed his career of Business Management and retired from Gescan; his love of life did not stop him. He enjoyed travelling with Betty, fishing, golfing and the most relaxing place was on his boat. He loved his good friends he made along his life’s journey and the memories of Blind Bay were talked about frequently. Bill loved a good martini and a great glass of red wine.
His wit, and humour, continued throughout the toughest days he faced; we are forever grateful for Doctor Andrew Kwasnica and the palliative care unit, to allow Bill to transition to his next journey. Bill was regarded by many as a great man, with a big heart.
