With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wilma Peereboom, into God's glory. Mom was born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1956. She is predeceased by her parents, sisters, and her husband, John Peereboom, who passed away just five weeks earlier on October 6, 2024. She leaves behind her children, Peter (Christine), Wil (Connie), and Theresa (Ron), along with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mom is remembered for her cheerful and positive outlook on life and trust in the Lord. Mom's incredible sense of humor and quick wit are her lasting legacy, bringing us comfort and cherished memories.
Though she loved life, Mom deeply missed her husband in her final weeks. On November 10, she reunited with Dad and is now laughing with him once more.
Due to the closeness of Mom's passing to Dad's, the family will hold a private burial on December 6, 2024, followed by a private family gathering.
