

She was born in Saska, Canada on March 25, 1935 to Frank and Ruby Meyers, married in 1955 to Kenneth Robert Baldree of Grosebeck, Texas and immediately settled in Victoria, TX. Agnes was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She also was a substitute teacher and teachers aid for the children in special education in the VISD for many years until her illness. Her friends knew her best as, one to turn to when they needed a listening ear and a seamstress for any occasion.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Les Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Kenneth Baldree, who stood by her through all the years of decline; son, Robert Baldree and wife, Sumrit; daughter, Linda O’Neal and husband, Dale; granddaughters, Michelle O’Neal, Heather Darliek and husband, Chad; great grandson, Miles and great granddaughter, Melody Darliek. Her family in Canada, sister, Jean Meyers Gear; brothers, Frank James (Jim) Meyers, John Glover (Jack) Meyers, Richard Peter (Dick) Meyers, Hugh Paul (Hughy) Meyers and twenty-seven nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baldree is preceded in death by her brother, Harry Meyers of Texas.
Agnes’ family would like to thank the special caregivers over the years that were devoted to her every need and treated us like family. They made it possible for her care to continue in the home. Also, special thanks to the Hospice team of doctors, nurses’ aides and others that came in the provided much needed guidance and hands on assistance over the last weeks of her life.
