Asahel Parker Buchanan

Asahel Jane Parker Buchanan, 82, passed away June 9, 2020 surrounded by her family. Asahel was born February 2, 1938 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Richard D. Parker and Eloa Beck Parker Gantt. Asahel loved her family and her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

Asahel is survived by her son, Brett W. Buchanan of Victoria; daughter, Lana K Paetz of Montgomery, TX; brother, Ronny D. Parker of Reamstown, PA; 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darwyn LaNarr Buchanan; step-father, Ezra Gantt; son, Scott W. Buchanan and sister, Patsy Ruth Hough.

A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 9-11 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel followed by a private service. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1PM to honor Asahel.

Pallbearers are Seth Paetz, Matthew Buchanan, Christopher Buchanan, Brett Buchanan, Bradley Buchanan and Damien Lopez.

Honorary pallbearer is Charles Paetz.
