Benilde Balerio

Benilde A. Balerio, 66, of Victoria passed away January 26, 2026. She was born July 2, 1959, in Victoria to Jose Gonzalez Jr. and Maria Concepcion Gonzalez. Benilde graduated from Stroman High School in 1977 where she was a proud member of the Stroman Raider Belles. She had a sense of duty and worked at various jobs including the Naval Exchange in Moffet Field, CA, Butter Krust Thrift Store in Victoria, H.E.B. in Victoria, and was also a housewife.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, 5 months, Rogerio “Roy” Balerio; daughter, Amanda J. Bearden (Lee) of Round Rock; son, Roger J. Balerio (Samantha) of Missouri City; grandchildren, Daemon Bearden of Round Rock, and Trey Hall, Adalynn Grace Balerio and Madison Ryann Balerio all of Missouri City; and brothers, Alberto Gonzalez (Dalena) and David Gonzalez (Erica) of Victoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jose Gonzalez III.

A Celebration of Benilde’s life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Ricky Garcia officiating.
