Byrd Lillian Dreyer Farrar

Byrd Lillian Dreyer Farrar, 95, of Victoria, passed away April 13, 2017. Lillian was born October 7, 1921 in Mission Valley to the late Willie George and Ellen Gisler Dreyer. Lillian was an election judge in Mission Valley and the tax accessor collector and school secretary for Mission Valley ISD. She loved to quilt and crochet and made Christmas ornaments. Lillian was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mission Valley.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Martha Ann Farrar (Mark) of Victoria, Mary Ellen Stafford Bailey (James) of Houston, Carol Sue Whitley (Dennis) of Victoria; son, William Steven Farrar (Nadia) of Georgia; grandchildren, Ranya Tomlinson (Jabie) of Georgia, Ahab Farrar of Georgia, Matthew Bailey (Jennifer) of Lorena, TX, Michael Bailey (Paige) of Katy, TX, Rachael Bailey (Jeff) of Houston, Benjamin Bailey (Ashley) of Houston, Jesse Bailey of Ft. Worth; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Jaiden, Landen, Emma, James, Henry and George. Lillian also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warrington Siebert Farrar and sister, Eliesa Laura Martin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mission Valley. Burial will immediately follow at Mission Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the Elders of Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Honorary pallbearers are Lillian’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
