It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Caden Armon Gates of Victoria, Texas who passed away on Wednesday the 13th of August 2025. Caden was born on the 21st of May 2003 in Victoria to his beloved mother, Jessica Flores.
Caden's life, though far too short, was filled with love, connection, and promise. He will be missed every day and remembered always. Caden found joy in watching Tom Brady win his Super Bowls, his New York Jets and he enjoyed cooking and being outdoors fishing.
He is loved and remembered by his son, Caden Gates Jr; mother, Jessica Flores; father Ernest Kitchens, Sr. all of Victoria;biological father Noland Gates; sisters Lexus Gates of Ganado, Alohna Kitchens of Victoria; brother Ernest Kitchens III of Victoria; grandparents, Deborah and Randy Jones of Victoria; and cousin Tony Perez Garcia.
Caden was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Flores.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family beginning at noon on Saturday the 30th of August with a Celebration of Caden's life to begin at one o'clock in the afternoon at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
