Cecilia H. “Aunt Cecil” Fagan, 98, of Tivoli passed away January 1, 2010. Cecilia was born August 1, 1911, in Bay City to the late Peter Hamel and Emma Botard Hamel. She and her late husband, W.P., were longtime ranchers in the Tivoli area, and members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Cecilia had also served on the Altar Society. Survivors include her nieces, Ann Wolfshohl, Margaret Duelberg (Richard), and Jean Biederman, all of Victoria. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her, husband, W.P. “Bill” Fagan; a sister, Estelle Hamel Biederman; niece, Barbara Day; two infant brothers. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, January 3, 2010, at 7 pm, at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, January 4, 2010, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Tivoli, Rev. Charles Doherty officiating. Burial will follow in Tivoli Cemetery.
