

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He had been a member of the South Texas Hereford Association since 1951 and had served as past president and on the board of directors. He was also a member of the American Hereford Association. He was active in the Commercial Cattle division of the Victoria Livestock Show in the 1960s.
He is survived by his son, Dr. Thomas Moscatelli and wife, Patricia of Victoria; grandchildren, Laura Moscatelli of Austin, Kimberly Vega (Roger) of Victoria, Linanne Moscatelli (Ben) of San Antonio, Kacy Thomas (Ryan) of San Antonio, and Matthew Moscatelli of Austin; great-grandchildren, Alexis Vega of Victoria, Elijah Vega of Victoria, Bejamin Johnson of San Antonio, Caden Thomas of San Antonio, Carson Thomas of San Antonio and Taylor Thomas of San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, May Moscatelli; son, Charles D. Moscatelli, Jr; and sisters, Rose Bianchi, Victoria Pozzi, Mary Chiodini, Corinne Pudelka, Clementine Moscatelli, Angelina Weber and Anna Ball.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 Am on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Vacek officiating. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Mausoleum.
Pallbearers are Dr. Thomas Moscatelli, Ryan Thomas, Roger Vega, Ben Johnson, Eddie Roeder, Jimmy Miori, Tim Miori and Kurt Miori.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alexis Vega, Elijah Vega, Benjamin Johnson, Caden Thomas, Carson Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Trino Adames, Jr., Kennie Kruse, Jr. and Jim Matchett.
