Charles Floyd Rigamonti, 61, of Victoria passed away on Thursday, July 03, 2014. He was born April 18, 1953 in Victoria, TX to Juanita Cochrum Rigamonti and the late Lawrence Charles Rigamonti. Charles was the co-owner and operator of Rigamonti Welding.
He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Phyliss Lau Rigamonti; mother, Juanita Rigamonti; daughters, Shana Speer, Kristy Chappell, Brittany Rigamonti, and Courtney Rigamonti all of Victoria; brother, Gary Rigamonti of Port O’Connor; and four grandchildren, Braden Speer, Briley Speer, Bryton Speer and Connor Chappell.
Charles was a dedicated husband for 40 years and the best father to his four daughters. He was idolized by his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Family was everything to him. Charles was a hard-working, successful business man that always gave back to the community. Rigamonti Welding was his passion and he was always striving for higher success and new projects. He loved his work and was one of the most talented welders and fabricators around. Charles was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. His favorite past time was hanging out at the coast with his family. He had more fishing stories than most, but of course the best were the stories of “the one that got away”. Charles could build anything from BBQ pits to dune buggies, and his most recent project was a 32 Ford Coupe that he was putting his heart and soul into rebuilding. Charles was loved by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and remembered forever.
