Clara Ann (Trice) Goode

Clara Ann (Trice) Goode, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St. Peter’s Baptist Church, with burial following at Adams Branch Cemetery, 64 CR 1K in Hallettsville, Texas.

Clara was born February 8, 1941 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Forest Trice, Sr. and the late Mary Sally Irving Trice. She attended Wiley High School of Terre Haute. After high school she moved to Texas. She retired from T.A.B. Accessories, Co., after working there for many years. She liked growing houseplants, crocheting, and baking. She used to make the most extraordinary decorated cakes. She was a devoted mother, caring grandmother, loving sister, and aunt, and a true friend.

Clara is survived by her son, Robert Ray Goode, Jr.; daughter, Natalie Ann Goode; sisters, Luvenia Sanders and Marva J. Edwards; grandson, Darrian Goode; and granddaughter, Adrianna Goode.

Clara was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; sisters, Linda Tyler, Lena Bell Trice and Violet Trice; and brothers, Dr. Earlie Trice, George Edward Trice and Forest Trice, Jr.
