Daniel Lynn Rohlack

Daniel Lynn Rohlack, 67, of Victoria, passed away at his home on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Johnny Emil and Gay Wood Rohlack on November 7, 1955. Daniel married Kathleen Ann Grant on November 8, 1997, and together they enjoyed their blended family for almost 26 years of marriage.

He worked as a truck driver for many years for Halliburton, PFG, Key Energy Services, and Bobwhite Energy Services. Daniel was a proud Eagle Scout and a country music fan, a lover of both overalls and coveralls. He was known by those near and dear to him to enjoy a daily beer as well as his weekly Saturday night ice cream. Daniel always spoiled his wife with a dozen roses for birthdays, anniversaries, and Valentine's Day. He loved teddy bears and lottery tickets (even though he never hit it big) and made all holidays special for his grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Rohlack, Daniel is survived by sons, Kirt Rohlack (Sheila), Eric Rohlack (Helena); and stepsons, Roger Wall (Jenny), Brock Wall (Mary), and Joshua Wall (Monica). Daniel also leaves behind brothers, Dennis Rohlack and Johnny Rohlack; sister, Donna Cooper; ten grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends, all of whom will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Shillerville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, to honor Daniel, will be Eric Rohlack, Roger Wall, Brock Wall, Joshua Wall, Randy Pullin, and Tom Bergfeld. Honorary pallbearers will be Elizabeth Schoenherr, Emily Wall, Hayden Wall, Jacob Ratliff, Jake Wall, Nathan Wall, Grant Wall, Morgan Wall, Bodacia Rohlack, Rainer Rohlack, and Cooper “Bobby” Kliem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi.
