Daniel E. Vrana

Daniel E. Vrana, 70, of Victoria, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019. He was born September 24, 1948 in Hallettsville, Texas to Bohumil and Cecilia Branecky Vrana. Daniel was the co-owner and operator of the Texas Drive Inn and Texas Catering.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Clint) Williams of Victoria; sisters, Mary Ann (Paul) Janacek of Victoria and Margaret Vrana of Victoria; brothers, Bo (Ruth) Vrana, Jr. of Nursery, George Vrana of Nursery and David (Tracey) Vrana of Victoria; and five grandchildren, Paige and Parker Williams, Cody Vrana, Bella Vrana and Eli Vrana.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Vrana was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Fojtik Vrana on March 13, 2004; son, Donald Vrana; grandson, Christopher Vrana; and a brother, Eugene Vrana, Sr.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Kristopher Fuchs officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Paul Janacek, Collin Metting, Chris Fojtik, Marcus Salinas, Stephen Palacios and Dimitri Palacios.
