Deanna Mejia Heinold

“Princess” Deanna Mejia Heinold, 48, of Victoria passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 10, 2013 . She was born April 6, 19 65 in Victoria, TX to Frank and Genoveva Falcon Mejia of Victoria. Deanna was a beautiful, creative, funny, strong, loving woman with unwavering faith in the Lord, who could never spend enough time with the people she loved. She was the family chef and enjoyed baking for all holidays and special occasions. She was the best Nana you could ask for and she loved as passionately as she shopped. One of mom’s greatest joys was blessing others with her gifts and crafts. She will be sorely missed.

Survivors include her parents; husband, Jimmy B. Heinold; daughters, Ashley Mejia LeBlanc of Houma, LA, Christie Petrash of Victoria, Stephanie Heinold of Victoria; son, Brian Mejia of Victoria; sisters, Peggy Mejia Ybarbo, Jacqueline Mejia Williams both of Victoria; brothers, Frank Mejia, Jr of Lake Jackson, Roger Mejia of Victoria; sons in law Sean Petrash of Victoria, Matthew LeBlanc of Houma, LA, and four grandchildren.

Deanna was preceded in death by a brother, Roberto Paul Mejia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 AM on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Faith Family Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Petrash, Matt LeBlanc, Joshua Ybarbo, John Ybarbo, Roger Mejia, Robert Mejia, and Brent Williams.
