Deborah Kay Tyng Thibodeaux

Debbie Tyng Thibodeaux, 59, of Victoria, passed away February 26, 2016. Born and raised in Victoria, Debbie was in the last graduating class of Nazareth Academy and earned a degree in education from Southwest State in San Marcus.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Shannon Thibodeaux Schreiber of Houston; son-in-law, Richard M. Schreiber of Houston; son, Zach Thibodeaux of Houston; granddaughter, Vivienne Schreiber of Houston; mother, Barbara Briggs of Victoria; father, Fred Tyng of Victoria; sister, Maddeline Massey of Victoria; brother, Clyde Tyng of Port Lavaca; step-brother Robert Briggs of Victoria; step-sister Louise Briggs of San Antonio; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, and in laws who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaise Thibodeaux, and stepfather, Bobby Briggs.

Visitation will be Monday, February 29 from 6-7 and a rosary immediately following at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral on Tuesday, March 1 at 10am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert L. Massey, Clyde Tyng, Conrad Thibodeaux, Gerard Thibodeaux, Billy Massey and Eric Thibodeaux

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the MD Anderson Breast Cancer Research.
