Elizabeth C. Montgomery, 93, of Victoria passed away July 19, 2017. She was born August 13, 1923 in DeWitt County to Monroe and Ada Eldridge Lott. She was retired from VISD where she worked in Custodial Services, and was a member of Pleasant Green Home Demonstrations and Palestine Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Margie Montgomery and Elvira Williams (Charles); sons, William Sanders (Laura), Marvin Montgomery and Freeman Montgomery (Celina); sister, Eleanor Cockrell (A.C.) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Montgomery; parents and 5 sisters.
A wake service will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. in Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Palestine Baptist Church with Rev. G.O. Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Keegan S. Walker, Dante B. Williams, Quinten, Marcus and Russell S. Montgomery and Sean Harris.
