

Herbert A. Lienemann, Sr., 84, of Victoria passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012. He was born November 23, 1927, in Yoakum to the late Adolph and Bessie Pribyl Lienemann. Herbert retired as maintenance supervisor from the Victoria Regional Airport. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a Lutheran.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherlyn Schaefer of Austwell, Carol Olsovsky or Rosharon, Robbie Simpson of Victoria, Margaret Aigner of Inez, Donna Perry of Yoakum, Karen Harvey of Victoria and Rhonda Berger of Victoria; sons, Herbert Lienemann, Jr., of Inez and Edward Lienemann of Victoria; twenty-one grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Anne Lienemann; three sisters, Minnie Edward, Cora Fishbeck and Dorthy Keith; and two brothers, Lawrence Lienemann and Martin Lienemann.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 3, 2012, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, May 4, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Burial with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Sewalt II, Greg Parker, Charlie Schaefer, C. J. Harvey, Michael Simpson and Joey Alkek.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caylan Schaefer, Sonny (Brian) Lienemann and the late Kevin Aigner.
