Irene "Nene" Gonzales

She was born September 17, 1923 to the late Pedro and Juanita Loa Gonzales.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Nene was a special person because she had a big enough heart to love each

and every one of the numerous nieces and nephews with her special love and kindness.

She has left her nieces and nephews and their families here at home to join her parents,

sisters, Josephine Martin, Benita Rivera, Maria Reyes and brothers, Luciano Valadez,

Pete Valadez, Domingo Gonzales, Escolastico “Pelon” Gonzales and Jose Gonzales,

whom preceded her in death and that she missed dearly.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, June 27, 2014 followed

by a rosary at 7:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home with Deacon Fred Soto officiating.

A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic

Church with Rev. Samuel Appiasi officiating. Burial to follow at San Jose Cemetery,

Bloomington. Serving as pallbearers are Domingo Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, Don Gonzales,

Richard Reyes, Robert Reyes, A.C. Gonzales and Albert Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are

Mary Martinez, Diana Gonzales, Melissa Reyes, Belinda Martin, Rita Rodriguez,

Rosa Amador and Sylvia Gonzales.

May she rest in peace and reunite with her loved ones. We love you Nene!
