Iris Herm Schulte, 85, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. She was born June 30, 1932 in Yoakum, Texas, to the late Henry and Erna Seim Herm. She was married to Ronald S. Schulte on February 14, 1954 in Yoakum. She enjoyed working at Victoria Bank and Trust, sewing, quilting, and worshiping at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Schulte; her parents; and her sister, Estelle Shackelford. Survivors include her son, David R. Schulte and his wife Amy of McFadden, Texas; daughter, Cathy A. Palmer and her husband Charlie of Houston, Texas; and grandsons, Lucas Schulte, Connor Palmer, and Cody Palmer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charlie Palmer, Lucas Schulte, Connor Palmer and Cody Palmer.
