Jackie Anger Tanner, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 27, 2020. She was born June 4, 1931 in Lufkin, TX to the late John Posey and Roxie Jones.

She is survived by her daughter Renae Anger Murray of Victoria; son John Paul Anger (Lisa) of Victoria; daughter Arlene Anger Kinsel of San Antonio; step-sons Jack A. Tanner III (Betsy) of Austin; Tod Tanner (Deborah) of Groesbeck; grandchildren John Robert Anger, Jessica Anger Fitch (James), Garrison Kinsel, step-grandchildren Tatum Tanner, Jack A Tanner IV, Danielle Tanner, and great-granddaughter Ava Grace Fitch.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her children Leo R. Anger, and husband Jack A. Tanner Jr.

Private services will be held with family.

The family would like to express deep gratitude to Janie Rosas, Dean Davis and the staff at the Dornburg Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or Hospice of South Texas.
