James M. Rollins

James M. Rollins, 82, of San Antonio, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was born in Yoakum to the late Jesse and Odie Rollins on March 22, 1930. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Rollins, and his sister, Ruby Lee Tucker.

He spent most of his employment years working for Sherwin-Williams in Victoria, Port Lavaca, and Beeville. He spent his last 8 years of retirement in San Antonio, where you could find him visiting with his neighbors, telling a story, or enjoying a cold Bud Light on his patio.

James is survived by his sons, Ned Rollins (Vicky) of Austin and Paul Rollins of San Antonio, brother Jesse Rollins of Corpus Christi, and grand daughter, Lannie Rollins of Austin.

James loved and provided for his family and especially enjoyed traveling in Mexico with Delores. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed crossword puzzles, was an excellent cook, and loved to play dominoes, especially with his grand daughter.

James lived a wonderful life.
