She was born in 1950 to Marvin H. Wagner and Helen Ruth Riddell Wagner in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. She left two children, son, Kenneth Scott Perry and daughter, Magen Ruth Perry-Wente, both of Victoria; and grandson, Ayden Leon Edwards. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Holder Wagner of Victoria, nephew, Marc L. Holder and his wife Shannon.
Janet enjoyed gardening and cooking in her early years and was active in Girl Scouts with her daughter. She lived in Victoria from 1981 to present. She was employed by Victoria ISD Transportation Department and enjoyed the special needs students she served. Janet had many special friends in the transportation department. She was proud of her RN degree and enjoyed her studies. She often was a reference for her family, was well informed and was always ready to help.
A Celebration of Life for Janet will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home. She will be entombed at Sunset Memorial in San Antonio at a later date.
