Jon T. Trevino

Jon was born October 3rd, 1962, to Jorge & Margaret Trevino in Corpus Christi, Texas. After graduating from High School, he worked alongside his father in the restaurant business. During this time, he met and fell in love with Marie O. Garcia and married on December 21st, 1985. He had three children, Jarred, Jordan, and Nicole, whom he loved and cherished. He went back to school and obtained his B.S. in Nursing from the University of Houston. He worked over 20 years in nursing and cared for many patients throughout South Texas. He was a firm believer in patient advocacy. He was a great protector and provider for far many more than just his family. He fed and helped the homeless. He was larger than life and a magnanimous individual. He was just as at ease behind the grill as he was holding a fishing rod or hunting. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a beloved son.

Jon leaves behind his wife, Marie Trevino; his sons, Jarred Jon Trevino and Jordan Terry Trevino; his daughter, Nicole Marie Trevino; his parents, Jorge Trevino and Margaret Trevino; his brother, Jorge Anthony Trevino; his sisters, Michelle Evans, Danielle Escalona and Sandi Rae; and his many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Pastor Mark Longoria officiating.
